Pedro is a seasoned attorney; legislative counsel; political and policy advisor, including serving as a Litigation Associate with Wildman & Harrold LLP; Assistant Legal Counsel in the Illinois State Senate and Senior Aide to the first Hispanic President of the American Bar Association. He currently serve as Special Advisor to the Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer of the American Bar Association - the largest voluntary professional association in the world & the national voice of the American legal profession.

Ervin,
Board Treasurer
Kara is a Chicago native who joined the ALSO Board in 2011. Kara, who is committed to reducing crime in her beloved hometown, also serves on the Junior Board of the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic. Kara is a practicing attorney, graduating from New York University School of Law in 2007.

Sarah
Cudahy
Sarah is excited to be a part of the ALSO Board. Sarah currently works as an employment attorney for Barnes & Thornburg LLP, and is on the Youth Philanthropists Board for the Chicago Lighthouse. Prior to moving to Chicago, Sarah graduated from Washington University in St. Louis Law School and worked as a judicial clerk for Justice Theodore Boehm of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Nicole
Denow
Nicole is currently an advisor at the University of Wisconsin Law School. She previously worked as an attorney at the law firms of Winston & Strawn and Barnes & Thornburg, as an international legal officer with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo and as a federal law clerk in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Nicole joined ALSO in 2010 and is excited to serve on the ALSO board.
Adrienne
Guldin
Adrienne Guldin is a former expat and current stay-at-home mother. Her experiences with not-for-profit organizations have primarily involved arts organizations and she is currently on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Fringe Festival and Chicago Tap Theatre. She joined the ALSO Board in 2011.
Sari
Mills
Sari is a graduate of University of Illinois Jane Addams College of Social Work. She has been working as a Chicago Public Schools Social Worker for the past 17 years. Sari join the ALSO board in 2009.
Rev. Bruce
Ray
Rev. Bruce Ray, pastor of Kimball Avenue Church and Executive Director of Lutheran Day Nursery, has been active with the Alliance of Local Service Organizations from its inception. He has led his church to advocate for non-violence and for jobs, the arts and after school programming as a way to prevent violence.
Evelyn
Vasquez
Evelyn was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico and raised in the Humboldt Park Community, where she still resides. She works as a Human Resources Representative at the Fort Dearborn Company in Niles, Illinois. In addition to her volunteerism with ALSO, Evelyn works with the Lydia House of Chicago and PAWS Chicago (a no kill animal shelter).
