Welcome to the Alliance of Local Service Organizations (ALSO) new web site! We are excited to reacquaint ourselves with you via the web. As you surf the site, you will learn a lot has changed at ALSO. Click on our About Us page and you can read our revised mission statement, plus see our values and beliefs. A year long process to update the new statements has provided us a clear direction for what ALSO wants to accomplish and the means at which we will strive to do the work.
Visit the Programs page and learn about all of the current work ALSO has undertaken. With our mission in mind, ALSO has provided technical assistance to grantees of the US Department of Justice - Office on Violence Against Women to implementing important violence prevention programs in the Humboldt Park and Logan Square communities.
