The Children Exposed to Violence Technical Assistance Project (CEV TA), funded by the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women, is the comprehensive technical assistance project for recipients of OVW’s Children and Youth Exposed to Violence grants.

Grantees from around the country provide direct counseling, advocacy and mentoring for children to mitigate the effects of their exposure to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking and to reduce the risk of future victimization or perpetration of these crimes. Grantees also provide support to the non-abusing parent or child’s caretaker, and coordinate with local service providers to strengthen and increase access to services for both kids and adults.

CEV TA supports their efforts by providing information on promising practices, tailored technical assistance, webinars and conferences, and by brokering assistance from other national experts.
